Over a four month period Steve and his team transformed my warehouse conversion from a series of unloved student bedsits into a modern, characterful home. The house was stripped back to the bones, rooms were reconfigured, new bathrooms and kitchen installed, radiators replaced by a discreet and eco-friendly air heating and cooling system, every inch of storage space optimised and (the pièce de resistance!) the cheap and ugly staircase removed, its elegant replacement has completely transformed the house. I could not have hoped for better builders and indeed cannot imagine embarking on such a huge project without Steve's vision, expertise and attention to detail. Along the way there were various issues which might have floored lesser builders, Steve addressed each one with a "can do" approach, thought around the problems and came up with solutions. He is a man of infinite patience and seems impossible to fluster! The team were so different from the stereotypes one hears about, always on time, very hard working and utterly professional. I cannot recommend them more highly.

Dan and his team did an absolutely amazing job on our loft conversion and we couldn't be happier. The guys were polite, tidy, efficient and above all considerate of our living space and the general stresses of going through a build. I would highly recommend Berry Ross as a safe pair of hands.

Berry Ross converted our loft in Herne Hill and did a fantastic job. The rooms are bright and spacious. The builders who worked on the project were friendly and polite and most importantly kept the rest of the house as clean as possible during the works! We're so pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them - in fact we're hoping to use them again on a new project soon.

Berry Ross re-did our wetroom and re-wired most of our house and did a brilliant job. We were under time pressure as my wife was due to give birth a month or so later and we were trying to get the nursery completed in time. It's lucky we did the work as some of the electrics were very old and verging on dangerous, which we hadn't realised until Steve and his team came in. In addition, we discovered the previous wetroom hadn't been waterproofed properly, which is why it had been leaking. The new wetroom is really spectacular and we feel confident that it won't leak. Steve had lots of clever suggestions which we wouldn't have thought of, which is the sign of a great service. We've actually now found a new house and if we manage to buy that we will be asking Dan, Steve and the team to come and do a large extension and complete refurbishment. We would definitely want them to work on any future projects we have.

Hugely engaging and personal approach by Dan and Giacomo - we've used them to effectively redo 5-bed mid-terrace in stages (loft conversion, re-roofing, bathrooms, ground floor renovation, etc.) and are our go-to for all building matters - have just moved houses and plan to use them again!

We interviewed a number of potential firms for our loft conversion and we decided that Dan was not only competitive on price but he was also enthusiastic and interested in looking to provide what we wanted rather than simply deliver a straightforward "generic" loft conversion. He took great care to work with us to figure out the plans to turn a potentially difficult layout for our loft into something that fitted naturally with the feel of the original property and also met our needs. Dan was sensitive to the requirements of carrying out work in a conservation area and ensuring the end result fitted with the character of our house, particularly in terms of his recommendations for design, finishing and materials. Dan was responsive and attentive to detail and made sure that we were happy with the work along the way. He was also fully committed to finding the right person for the various other jobs that we sent in his direction, from finding a stonemason for external stonework to matching original internal plasterwork, and he took great pride in the excellent work of his team of carpenters and other specialists. His team of specialists were always cheery, extremely hardworking and helpful, often eschewing offers of cups of tea in favour of getting on with the job! Even during the most destructive phase of the building work they were fastidiously tidy and careful. Dan's attention to detail was similarly keen and he worked hard to minimise any disruption to the rest of the house during the process. We are really happy with all the work. We will certainly be in contact with Dan for any future work we need and we would also recommend him without hesitation.
